Cheap Sunglasses at Zenni Optical
Today I was reading about Zenni Optical in the New York Times and it mentions how they offer cheap, generic frames that can be used as backup eyeglasses with antiscratch coating. I thought this was really interesting as I sometimes need a pair of sunglasses when I go outside to travel and the sun is really bright.
You may be wondering what this has to do with free music, but I figured those of you who like to jog outside with your Ipod on sunny days need protection for your eyes. Anyway, I looked at a couple of the types of sunglasses they sell and they look really nice. They have a couple different sections if you want some other types of eyeglasses, but I was particular interested in shades.
I found this particular pair of frames at the top of the shades section. They are stainless steel frames with a few different colors. I’m thinking about trying these out as they would really compliment the shape of my face.

So I stumbled upon this site called BroadJam that allows you to download free music for your ipod by adding songs to your cart. You need to sign up for an account, which is free, then proceed to add songs then download them from your profile.

SpiralFrog is a website that offers free music downloads as long as you sign up for a free account and have Windows Media Player plug-in installed in your browser. Unfortunately, it will not work on Mac.
You will need to install a download manager in order to get the music files (which is pretty much standard for a lot of these sites) which will be in WMA format (which can be converted). This application is easy to setup and will sit in your task tray icon area.
The site has a good music selection for popular artists. There aren’t as many categories and selection as most independent-style music sites, but SpiralFrog makes up for it with an easy to use interface.
You can use the website itself as a music player, but it utilizes Windows Media Player and you can just take the downloads and play them in your favorite player (or put it on your IPod!)
